NAME's Soap Recipe

Nettle Soap "That Works" by Maree Arber - Australia Host 2005

This soap "works" for my daughters' eczema.

Base Ingredients

• 87% Organic Olive Oil
•   5% Shea Nut Butter
•   5% Cocoa Butter
•   2% Wheatgerm oil
•   1% Castor oil

• Nettle Water*
• NaOH [7% superfat]

Method

* Pour enough boiling water to cover over 1 cup of tightly packed nettles, let cool, puree in a blender. Use this nettle puree as part of the lyewater and add more water enough to make for this 3 kg batch. This batch was cold processed.
