Diana O's Citrus Splash

soap photo

I love this soap because of the F.O. My middle son says everytime I use it , it makes him thirsty for fruit juice. The soap has not seized on me, but I add it at very light trace to avoid that. Also, the first time I made this soap it looked like a citrus bar, so I was thrilled with it. Everyone seems to like this bar the best.

20 oz Sweet Almond Oil
12 oz Avocado Oil
6 oz Castor Oil 4 oz Citrus Splash F.O. (from scentshack.com)
20 oz Coconut Oil
8 oz Jojoba Oil
16 oz Pam Oil
1 oz stearic acid
3 oz Emu Oil
86 total oz of oils

31 oz distilled water used (MMS calls for 32 oz)
11.52 oz lye (I wanted between 5 - 6 superfat range)

1 rounded tablespoon ultramarine blue oxide mixed with
1oz distilled water

It turned a very pretty light blue color and smells wonderful.
I go to light trace and add the F.O. and I typically don't suffer with seizing.
I like to add different color oxides and swirl it. It typically comes out translucent with the swirl in it - very pretty.
