Its an affordable batch to make that uses my prime love of olive oil in a high percentage. Also, I find that when grapeseed oil is used is gives a silky feel to the lather and the cocoa butter is added for a creamy touch to the lather. The coconut and palm are staple ingredients to add lending
hardness to the bar. I am also a big fan on colouring but like to go lightly with just a touch of colour.
This is actually my first batch with using discounted water and it behaved beautifully.
I am pleased to see that the quantity of grapeseed oil and olive oil touched a little over 70% for the requirements of DW as per Marina's instructions on DW. Regarding essential oils used, they are all my favourites with lemon myrtle especially at the top of the list of favs and so I couldnt resist the long list of eo's i blended together.
The blend was made a week before the soap batch was made, to give it time to come together and again I go like to go light on scent. I can still smell the olive oil amongst the eo blend in the soap.
