Karen's Hummingbird Soap
The soap that I will be doing for the swap.
The hummingbirds are:
- water, olive oil, coconut oil, glycerin, sugar, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide.
The backing soap is:
- Water, almond oil, palm kernel oil, and sodium hydroxide.
The inspiration for this soap comes from my many friends and customers that live with disabilities. The hummingbird soap design was created to match the cards painted by my friend and business partner who is a quadriplegic. She paints her cards by holding the brush in her teeth. The almond soap was created by one of my customers who has multiple chemical sensitivities. Because even natural scents are not tolerable to them this is an unscented soap. After years of involvement with many people who live with many different disabilities it makes me appreciate just how lucky I am and just how trivial most of life's problems really are.
