Maude's Soap Recipe
Maude's What IS in those kitchen cupboards?
Inspiration is "What IS in those kitchen cupboards?" :)
My mom is really anti-chocolate for kiddies... So she bought me several boxes of carob powder, which I do like... If it's aim weren't meant to replace chocolate, I am sure my kiddies would have enjoyed the taste of carob... As it stands, it is something I love in my cupboard, but let's be frank, it will be more appreciated in soap. So what's good with carob? Honey of course. A dollup added. Malt and vinegar for fun, all (except vinegar) diluted in buttermilk and added somewhere in the HP process, when the paste looked too dry.
I am completely broke these days, so the EOs may seem to have not much in common: fennel, vetivert, benjoin, rosewood, green mandarin and sage. Apart from the sage, these are really high quality EOs and just a few drops really go VERY far!
Why HP? Well, I've only tried HP twice, and used very little EO which went a long way. 2 years later, the scent still holds and the soap is very hard.
Oils include olive, palm (organic, looks like butter), colza (in every Swiss kitchen), sunflower and coconut.
