Buttermilk Oates and Cinnamon Spice Soap by Julie Bray
After many requests for soap for men, I was inspired to make this high lather, all natural soap with a spice smell. Originally, I planned to put this soap in a shaver tin and add a little shaver brush to be sold around Fathers Day, but haven't gone that far yet. The soap is super lathery which I put down to the Castor Oil and silk and with the mildness and creaminess of the buttermilk can be used for the most sensitive of skins. Most say the smell reminds them of Cinnamon Buns, so I thought I would put this one in for the swap.... for the blokes!

Ingredients [*]
- 425 gms Olive Oil
- 425 gms Coconut Oil
- 674 gms Palm Oil
- Heat and stir in 1 tablsp of powdered buttermilk whilst still hot.
- 213 gms Sodium Hydroxide
- 568 gms Spring Water
- one and a half inch sq silk fibre
When temps are both at 90 deg C, blend together with electric whisk to reach light trace. Then add :
- 3 teaspoons of crushed / finely ground oates
- 20gms Castor Oil
- 10gms Cinnamon Leaf EO
