Kelly's Mediaeval Castle Wench

220g palm oil
220g coconut oil
910g of olive oil
30g of castor at trace

184g lye
472g water with a pinch of silk and 2 tsps of titanium dioxide (150g of the water was kept aside and 7 tablespoons of goat's milk powder was mixed in and added after trace) Temperatures were at 45 degrees C for oils and 40 degrees for lye.

2 tbspns of oatmeal and 2 of oatbran
2 tbspn of red clay
1 and a half tbspns of ground chamomile flowers
2 tbspns of powdered fruit peel rind that my daughter made :) I only used 20mls of essential oils for all this and am going to shape it into cookies. I tried to colour it with oxides( violet, blue and red - but I got into a bit of a pickle!) *groan* hahaha.

Then I let the mixture stiffen up to patting out consistency, donned my latex gloves and patted the soap into cookie shapes or patty shapes and set them to cure.

It looks very Mediaeval...but then hey! I'm the Mediaeval Soap Wench.
