My cucumbers are thriving during the hot, hot summer months that Illinois is enjoying. I use cucumbers in all types of non-food related items. I decided that I wanted to use my cucumbers, along with some tropical ingredients like virgin coconut oil and fresh coconut "milk", to create a creamy, summery soap. I infused olive oil with vanilla beans to give the soap a creamy vanilla-y fragrance. The vanilla turned the green soap blackish, but it was pretty when I first cut into it!
I hope you enjoy it!

Mix the oils and milk/lye solutions when both are approximately 110*F. At light trace, add the vanilla infused olive oil and chromium hydroxide green.
At trace, pour into bottom of 6 pound mold.
Upon completion of part 1, quickly start putting together part 2. At light trace, add 2 ounces of cucumber essence and mix to final trace.
Pour soap contents on top of part 1 soap and swirl in with large spoon.
