This is a variation of my favorite shampoo bar recipe in order to fit this year's theme "Good Enough to Eat" although you wouldn't think so by it's looks. I have been completely obsessed with coming up with the perfect shampoo bar recipe ever since I started using henna on my hair several months ago even though I had already been using my normal bath soaps on my hair for the past three years. I normally use deer tallow in place of the mango butter, emu oil in place of the safflower oil and a marshmallow root decoction along with some cassia obovata in place of the mango puree and the half and half. I realize that the rhassoul doesn't fit the theme but I just can't do without it.
I [tried this recipe] out in this morning's shower and I am pleased with the results.
Thank you so much.
