My first attempt at making soap with goat's milk was an unmitigated disaster. When the theme for this swap was announced I decided to bite the bullet and give it another try. My aim was to make a soap that was luscious, with a rich, mosturizing lather. I used vanilla with the goat's milk, mindful of the associations of this combo with milkshakes and ice cream (I like vanilla best). I wanted to keep it simple but a treat for the outside instead of the inside.
I used the cold process method - it gelled like crazy!
