You can feel the clay when you first start to lather the soap, but when you have suds you don't feel it. Leaves my hands nice and soft. Hubby says it reminds him of shaving soap....oh well, I wanted a facial bar, so thought I'd try some green clay in it to set the color and scent.... Still learning.
